We’re seeking a skilled and hands-on Engineering Technician to support the design, assembly, troubleshooting, and installation of advanced automation machinery. This role requires technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a collaborative approach.
Key Responsibilities:
Machine Design & Assembly
- Document engineering changes and maintain accurate BOMs.
- Troubleshoot, debug and optimize automation machinery.
- Manage mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical system components.
- Collaborate with engineers to develop and complete automation projects.
Installation & Service
- Oversee machine setup and customer approval processes.
- Provide technical support and training on-site and remotely.
- Travel occasionally to assist with machine installations and service.
Engineering Support
- Design and draft mechanical/electrical assemblies using CAD tools.
- Prepare technical documentation, including operation manuals.
- Support quoting, concept development, and customer relations.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering (Bachelor’s or Associate).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SOLIDWORKS, and similar CAD software.
- Experience with PLCs, electrical control panels, and pneumatic systems.
- Strong wiring, troubleshooting, and mechanical assembly skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and job orders.
- Willingness to travel and work in a manufacturing environment.
